what is a reasonable price range for a Smith 39?
running condition, from beat up to top notch? thanks I kinda like the way they look! billy boy |

Just saw 2 in the LGS, both 39-2's and selling for $329
One in Nickel with some noticeable scratches and blemishes on the frame, localized to about a 1 inch long area One in blue, very bright and clean finish Both with the wood grips in very good shape, no box or paperwork with either. 39/59's are really nice guns. REALLY nice. |

Normal & Skid: Nice! very nice! Just curious, why would a 59 be less $ than a 39? both models, I must admit, are nice looking. thanks billy boy Supply and demand. 59's were cop guns for a LONG time. Lots of them on the market. The 39 is also becoming a "classic" of sorts just by virtue of time and nostalgia. |
