The wife is in the market for a single stack deep concealment gun, and after trying out a couple it is down to the Ruger LC9 and the Diamond Back DB9. I have owned an LC9 and did not care for it myself, but it was a reliable gun. the Diamond Back I have no experience with, I know they had some issues with their .380 that seem to be resolved now. Any Info you guys have would be appreciated.

Agree with above.
I love my DB9. It's replaced my KT PF9 and P3AT all at once. Great trigger, great fit and finish, usable sights, only slightly larger than a .380 LCP/P3AT. It is certainly sensitive to limp wristing being as it's small. It requires a solid grip so I wouldn't rule it out, just make sure your wife is ready to practice till she feels comfortable. As with any pocket gun, 100-200 rounds break in is a good idea. I cleaned and lubed then hand cycled 2-300 times before I took it out and it was flawless. Honestly the quality and finish of the gun is heads and shoulders above Keltec. |

I'm not sure of your wife's skill level but almost all the women that I know that try to get into small guns, they end up hating them cause of the recoil in that small package.
It's a great paradox, people think the small pocket guns are for women and yet it usually takes a male with a good amount of shooting experience to remotely manage them. The DB9 kicks as hard as a .357 mag in a normal sized gun IMO |

And the differences in training that each require. I am leaning more toward the Khar PM9 or the LC9 just because I don't know much about diamond back, but she really liked the way the gun felt in the hand. |
