I'm eyeing a Ruger SR9c. I want to see what compacts are popular on AR15. Comments and photos are welcome. These are some of the ones I've looked at.

Springfield XD
Ruger SR9c
Glock
M&P
Kimber Solo
Kimber
Walther P99AS
Walther PPS
SIG P250
Kahr CW9
HK USP

Kahr PM9 is a great little 9 to carry, check it out.

Glock 26 can't be beat but is heavier than the pocket guns, but has more capacity.

Most of those you listed would be fine as long as you practice with them often.

I have a Kahr MK9 and it's very accurate for a pocket gun.  No reliability issues either.  PM9 would be better due to weight.

They're all good guns. Pick the one that fits your hand best. All you're going to get here is people listing their favorite gun, which may not be the best for you.

I'm currently using the XD compact that works well for me.  However, I'm looking at possibly getting the M&P compact (already have the full size).   A local range, Top Gun, rents guns so I usually visit them whenever I'm interested in a new gun.  Nothing beats shooting the real thing.

HK P2000SK for me.

Close second is a Glock 26

Almost forgot...Springfield Armory EMP.  Waiting on my Sparks holster to arrive so I can start carrying her.

I'd go the Ruger. Solid reliability, no frills, dirt cheap.

Then again, I do prefer glocks over any other handgun.

Compact is a G26 Glock for me and my wife.
We replaced our J frame S&W revolvers with them.

I had a G26 and got rid of it, grip is too small for my large hands even with a Pearce mag extension, I didn't like the grip angle or trigger.

You should have tried this before you ditched it

I have three G19 magazines set up with these extenders.

I am a 1911 nut but I love my Glock 19. The size is hard for me to complain about. It's just that right size, fits in the hand very well, but isn't too big, holds plenty of rounds but again, isn't too big. Samd could be said for some M&P's but I went with Glock.

From years of carrying, I have found that I am usually left wanting more if I get a tiny carry gun but I do get tired of carrying my full size 1911 everyday in the summer so I had to find a middle ground....G19

These days, there are a lot of options and that's good. Listen to some opinions but in the end, pick the one you like and feels best. Try to shoot some different ones at a range sometime as well.
