I'm eyeing a Ruger SR9c. I want to see what compacts are popular on AR15. Comments and photos are welcome. These are some of the ones I've looked at.

| I'm currently using the XD compact that works well for me. However, I'm looking at possibly getting the M&P compact (already have the full size). A local range, Top Gun, rents guns so I usually visit them whenever I'm interested in a new gun. Nothing beats shooting the real thing. |

I am a 1911 nut but I love my Glock 19. The size is hard for me to complain about. It's just that right size, fits in the hand very well, but isn't too big, holds plenty of rounds but again, isn't too big. Samd could be said for some M&P's but I went with Glock.
From years of carrying, I have found that I am usually left wanting more if I get a tiny carry gun but I do get tired of carrying my full size 1911 everyday in the summer so I had to find a middle ground....G19 
These days, there are a lot of options and that's good. Listen to some opinions but in the end, pick the one you like and feels best. Try to shoot some different ones at a range sometime as well. |
