Well after many months of stashing cash here and there and doing my research I finally purchased my latest toy. Went down to the fun store yesterday and picked up a Gen 3 Glock 19. Wife was a little disappointed since she found out about my cash stash and she wanted me to buy a new patio set but also new I really wanted it (promised her this was the last one for awhile |

It is better (easier) to ask for forgiveness than for permission. Its sad that you have to feel bad for using your own money for things that you want - Enjoy your new toy. I have the G17 and it is my CCW. I like it, and I know you will like yours for that role too. Hard to beat a G19 for CCW. |
| Thank you! Yeah it was a little frustrating and it was a lot easier asking for forgiveness than permission. Even got her some flowers and a $100 gift card to Nordstroms so she shouldn't be too pissed at me. I'm thinking my next purchase will be the G17 but I might have to wait awhile. |

I could be wrong but isn't it, like, a law or something to post up pictures of said newly acquired pieces of plas, ahem, I mean handguns? ![]() No shit! And, since we've all seen G19s before, you need to somehow dress the photo up a bit. I'm thinking maybe the wife holding it would be acceptable. Anyone here "second" that motion? |

It's really hard to shoot a home intruder with a chaise lounge. |

I think I need to see a pic of the wife first. |

| Nice pistol OP. I am taking it you guys might share a bank account. As long as you do your part and pay your share of the bills then you should be able to spend your discretionary funds as desired. That's the way it works in my house. My wife is really about me buying guns though, within reason of coarse. She looks at it like an expense for the family. Kind of like the ADT system or our German Shepherd family dog. Whenever we go somewhere on vacation or on a road trip she always ask, "Did you bring your gun?" I always reply "You know I did," and she breathes a sigh of relief with that crooked little smile on her face. She asked for her own piece this week. |
