My front sight isn't working anymore, the rear sights are showing up but the front is impossible to see... I'm guessing that the vial broke somehow during my match today.

Should I contact Trijicon/S&W (Factory night sights after all) or just get a new front sight?

If I need to get a new sight, what should I look at? I have the standard green on green sights and would really like a front sight that will pop in contrast to the rear.

I think trijicon will replace the vials, not sure how much it costs though. BD

I've always wondered if the tritium breaks, it is radioactive after all............ is it a hazard? I have always worried about this on my Loaded. What if I drop it and it breaks and I get the tritium liquid on my skin I'tve asked myself. Back to the topic. I hope you get it fixed for free. Let us know.

from my understanding tritium is radioactive hydrogen.  i'd imagine it would disperse/diffuse  rather quickly in the air.  i'd try contacting the s&w if they're factory night sights.
