Has anyone handled the new P226 E2? It is suppose to have a more ergonomic grip. My question is this, did Sig change the frame or are these just new grips. Searched Sig's website and they don't say nor do they just sell the E2 grips. These grips have no visible screws like on the standard P 226/229/220.

they are supposed to be selling an E2 grip kit.  afaik, it involves replacing a couple internal parts too.

I am 100% sure they sell the E2 grip for other versions. Call them up.



I have an E2 and enjoy it, very nice handgun. I can't comment how the angle is different from other Sigs because the E2 is the only I own.

You can send your gun to Sig and have the E2 grips installed for $100 + shipping.

Some websites also get a hold of the kits and sell them for ~$50.

As was mentioned, there are just a couple of parts changes. The frames are the same.
