The finish on my pistol has a lot of scratches and blemishes (it's my main duty pistol and is past 6 years old, one of the original Kimbers)  What's a good finish to get and where or to whom do I send it to?

Robar does a good job.  I had a pistol refinished in NP3.  It doesn't scratch very easy and makes for easier clean up.

You might want to contact Derek at Arizona Expert Arms.  I heard that he is one of the best refinishers in AZ.  I have a pistol with him right now because of the good reports I gotten about his work.  I will give you a quality report as soon as I get my pistol back.  Check out his website.

If you have a source for a sandblaster(Most machine shops)

You can do it yourself with Brownell's Gunkote. I did a few with it and it was pretty easy and turned out nicely.

Norrell's Moly Resin.

There is no better finish.  And it works great in a do it yourself situation.
