OMG, I've been a member here for over a year now and have never ventured over to this board. Outstanding, like the rest. So, the only handgun I have as of now is a HiPoint .45. Now, I know these sometimes get a bad rap, but I've had nothing but good experiences out of it. I'm sure this has been beaten to death - but what do you guys think? |

In all honesty, although I have handled the HiPoint pistols, I haven't fired one. If you have one that works and you like it, then it sounds great to me. But, if you do a lot of shooting, I think it is fair to say that problems will crop up before you put 5K down range. There is a reason the things can be sold so cheaply. I have friends that drove Yugos and got good service out of them. Seems like HiPoint stuff is in the same category... it is okay for as long as it works. No one can really say just how long that might be. |
