As far as repairing or replacing older pistols, such as MK II pistols, is Ruger good about this? I may be buying a Mark II locally for around $250, and if it ends up crapping out, will I be out of luck, especially since Ruger no longer makes them?

| Way back when I turned 18, i bought a used Ruger Mini14 After firing 5.56mm PMC machine gun ammo that was sold to me as standard .223 ammo, my bolt had a spiderweb crack but the rifle functioned just fine. I sent the rifle back to Ruger and they replaced the bolt, and recoil spring for free. The rifle was already 10yrs old by the time I got it and I wasnt the original owner but Ruger took care of me. |
