So 5 years ago I bought a Walther P99QA 40 S&W. I like it well enough, Its my bed side gun and I have a Streamlight TRL-2
mounted on it. I have probably 1000 rounds down the tube. But lately I've had the thought that I should go over to the
dark side and try a Glock. I've looked at there models and have decided ,if I do it, on a G19 and I really like the Gen4. The
Gen4 feels really good to me. I think the 9mm in a polymer gun would be a lot more controllable then the 40S&W. Anyway,
I'm thinking of selling the Walther and getting a Glock 19Gen4. What do you think ?

Go with what you want. But what's wrong with having both? You need to start a collection somehow. I have always found selling to bite me back later with an itch to repurcha se what I once had. I have never considered a limit on how many guns I want or will want to buy valid for any lenght of time.[:

Of course from my perspective, your point of view and gun choices lead me to say your 'dark side ' would most be like getting a good 1911 .

ive come to a recent decision that im no longer going to trade guns i like.  i will only trade guns i dont like because after i trade them, i want them back.

save up for the glock and have both.  thats my opinion.

You need to start doing shooting competitions. IDPA, USPSA, IPSC, or 3-gun. Get out there and start shooting more.

It sounds to me like the only real problem is the cost of 40S&W ammo.
I'd just post a WTT ad for a 9mm P99 straight across with someone who wants a 40.

A lot of people are consolidating calibers in their collections due to ammo prices.
