So I was at Cabela's, and they had a display case full of "pre-owned" Ruger pistols that looked brand new.  Two separate employees confirmed that they had just bought a huge batch of factory seconds and other oddities directly from Ruger.

I just bought a "brand new" P85 mk II with only minor handling marks  for $199  I'd imagine that Ruger has a pretty big warehouse and that this was sitting next to the Ark of the Covenant.  Too bad I missed out on the "brand new" PC9s they had earlier in the week, although I guess I already have a Sub2k.

Pics to follow after our lovely waiting period...

a gun nobody wants at a price nobody could pass up. great score. I want a few .22s .38s and 9mms to provide for a small group of beginners in a little outreach club I've been planning and that would be the ideal gun.

If nothing else, this would be the perfect gun to teach beginners how to pistol-whip someone!
