Which is harder on an autopistol?
Assuming a 1911 type pistol, which will wear it out faster/bit sreak it sooner. A light fast moving bullet or a heavier bullet at a lower velocity? Assuming both rounds are loaded at near max pressure levels. You can use these two loads as an example if it is easier. cal. 38 super, 24lb recoil spring round 1, 125gr FMJ @ 1300fps, chamber pressure 32k round 2, 165gr SWC @ 1050fps, chamber pressure 32k |
