have a local guy offering me one for my XD45 compact. I have almost no knowledg on the p99 platform but know the sw99 is pretty much the same as the walther.
about as far as my experience goes ont them is an old airsoft p99 i have on my desk to shoot at the tv when the news pisses me off 
so are they reliable ? any issue people have with them ? durability ? value ? as far as what id use it for...just a general HD gun and range gun for me and my fiance...wouldnt be carried anytime soon. I dont have any problems with the XD45 other then the no SWC but thats not a big issue. I assume the value of the XD is a tad higher but i may be wrong.. the sw99 is a DA/sa in 9mm if thats of any value |

That is not a fair deal.
Back in he day SW99 pistols sold wholesale for $289.00 Any cal. So they retailed about 350-400. The 45acp version is mildly collectable. And valued at $450. The others have lost value. $300 is a good price used. They are reliable. They are accurate. They are good guns. Your XD is worth more than any SW99 except the 45acp version. The gunbroker website has 75 pistols listed. All in the $4-450$$ minimum bid price range..... Not one bid. Look at the exploded search of 450 items for sw99. Not one bid. Ouch... T |

Your XD is worth more than any SW99 except the 45acp version. good thing I asked..the only references i had to go on for price is gunbroker and people are asking from $300-$650 for the 9mm version lol. was getting quite confusing. his has night sites also, so would $350 +/- be a fair ptrade value to give him on it ? |
