I doubt little brother is even watching..........I have several customers that purchase/transfer three or more firearms a month. Florida is one of a few states that is the POC (point of contact) for all firearm background checks, meaning Florida FFL's contact a state agency rather than the FBI NICS. The FBI NICS is by law required to purge their system of the previous days transactions. Whether Florida does this would best be answered by a Florda FFL. The FBI NICS does not require the purchaser to give a SSN or any portion of the SSN- it must be a Florida thing. When a FFL transfers two or more handguns to a non FFL within a period of 5 consecutive business days, the sale must be reported on ATF Form 3310.4, Report of Multiple Sale or Other Disposition of Pistols and Revolvers. Until Mexican drug lords start packing Baby Bownings you're safe. ***I too like those Baby Brownings. I figure if I pack two of 'em when I carry, it's equal to one .50cal |

No such requirement. As I mentioned in my post above, a "Multiple sale" form is required when you purchase two or more HANDGUNS within a five business day period. There is no such form for multiple long gun sales. You could buy a hundred rifles and shotguns on the same day- one 4473, one NICS check, no other Federal forms. |
