A Commander or Officer's size HP? Certainly I've not seen one by a factory, but wondered if maybe someone like Ed Brown or Wilson's have ever cranked a few out? Marketing idea or worthless? |

FM of Argentina did or does. It was called the "Detective" and was a short barrelled affair with a shortened grip as well. You can buy the complete upper from Dealer's Wharehouse and it fits right on a standard BHP frame. I don't know if there's really enough of a market for mass production here in the states, but it's an interesting configuration. Ross |

The biggest issue with the Detective FM is that it is a MK II underneath while the full sized M-95 is a MK III. Arcus (Bulgaria) make a MK III clone of the P-35 in both full size and compact. They are typical soviet block construction, over built and rock solid reliable. Century imports the ARCUS and they are also sold through AIM. ARCUS also makes a model 98 that is DA/SA (different internals obviously) but that uses the standard HP high cap mags. One of the best buys out there. |
Yeah. When Cetury took over the import rights for the Arcus they dropped most of the options. SAD! |
