I have War production Hi Power and I noticed something thing the other day when I stripped the trigger down to clean it.    The pin loop looks to be broken to me.   Looking at it from the left side, the section of the loop from about 9:00 to about 12:00 is missing and I can't tell if it has broken off or if it is made that way.   These occupation produced guns had no attention to finish work on the parts, so  I just can't tell if it has fractured away or if it is designed that way.
I did see a picture of an Inglis trigger on GB that appeared to be the same way, but I can't assume that it is not broken also.
So, if you please,  educate me.
Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing there will be requests for pictures.  Would probably make it easier on those who know what they're talking about.

I do not count myself in their ranks.

It is not broken.  Made that way.

Trigger lever fits in there.
