do these use the same parts? How hard is it to find a threaded barrel for a high power?

Yes they do, with the exception of the safety.  I believe the ball detent is different..not 100% sure though, without a BHP to compare it to.  Can't help you with the barrel though.

Not really an issue if the safeties don't exchange.

Doesn't really matter though, the Daly safety lever is superior to the Browning and IMHO pretty much the best safety lever for the Hi Power. It's extended enough that it's easy to switch off, but not so extended that it gets in the way.

Also,

AAC and Firedragon both make threaded barrels for the HP.

They both run around $250.

great news! thanks. Although, I'm not a huge fan of AAC and their shenanigans and I've never heard of the other guys.
