I got this in trade last week.  I really don't care for silver guns but I wanted to get a High Power style weapon.  Everything I have found on the net doesn't mention anything about stainless FM's.  The import mark stamped near the magwell lists what looks like the words Sport Arms Miami, FL.  The guy I got if from said he bought it used about 8 years ago and never shot it.  No box and no paperwork.  The serial number is in the 39000 range.  Is this considered an old model or new?  Any ideas when it was made?
Thanks, David

good looking gun.

I have never heard of a stainless Hi-Power.  Looks like chrome in the photo.

CONGRATULATIONS !!!!, your pistols is an argentine Fabricaciones Militares (Military Factories) Modelo 90 (Model 90), the only difference with the traditional High Powers is the flat sided front part of the slide, it was made in the 90´s, and was replaced by the Modelo 95 Classic (Model 95 Classic), it´s not stainless steel but hard chrome, the importer to the U.S. is Sports Arms of Miami, FL..
ENJOY IT
