Are the Hi-Power Standard and Hi-Power practical magazines the same as far as the locking and feeding?  That is, are they interchangeable?  Part number for the Standard is 112050194   and  the Practical is 112051194 .  I am assuming the difference is a bumper on the bottom (I'm guessing for IPSC).  Looking for confoirmation or comment from someone with more knowledge.

Visually, the only difference is, indeed, the bumper pad.

A dealer will probably tell you that whatever you want & he has is the better mag of the two, regardless of which one that is.

No difference between the two.  I use  standard mags in my Practical all the time w/o any problems.  I do prefer the practical mags however, purely  preference though, they both function equally as well.

Thanks for the help and info.  They look identical in most photos, even though one is less expensive than the other.  I want to get a practical, so it's nice to have only one set of magazines.
