| Took my FEG Israeli police trade in HiPower to the range today. I replaced the recoil, extractor, and disconnector springs with Wolff's from Midway USA. I had initially only replaced recoil spring and extractor springs, but had an occasional issue with the disconnector lever not resetting (2 or 3 times every 40 or 50 rounds) I replaced it with the Wolf extra power disconnector spring. Worked like a champ. 200 rounds and zero malfunctions. At 10 yards clay pigeons disintegrated with every shot. even large pieces were nailed. After only shooting about 200-300 rounds, I shoot it way better than the 469 S&W I have used for a carry gun for a long time. It points SO naturally! I really love this weapon! |
| Yep. I got this one from a guy that had a mixed batch of Israeli police turn ins: FEG (no KBI or any import marks, just "9mm PARABELLUM FEG Budapest Hungary") Kareem's, and browning. I understand that FEG actually made the Kareem receivers and slides. This one is virtually 100% interchangeable with a post-war Browning. (Mk II?) |
