I own this pistol for about 2 years, before that it sat in a safe of a friend unused for 10 years - KBI early import - old fashioned Browning action. It was giving me some ejection issues, especially with lighter loads
I think I found the problem! :)
this is how the extractor roll pin looked:
yes. broken to 3 parts - I had to dig them out of the pin hole one by one :)
I am sure that was the problem - the extractor could not pivot freely on it's pin, and was not grabbing spent casings unless it was slammed into them with heavier recoil of hotter loaded or heavier ammo
new pin is installed, new spring and new extractor as well though the original looks good - there is no more than 1200 rounds through this gun, so it should be good
I will test fire it tomorrow! Nothing like fixing a $300 gun with $30 worth of parts by yourself

fixed! no failures in 150 rnds of WWB 115gr - I would get FTEs every 3-4 rounds before the extractor swap!
