Is the Browning High Power in 9mm the same frame and slide as the .40S&W? I am asking because my cousin makes custom leather holsters, my dad has a .40 HP, and my cousin has a 9mm HP, can the 9mm be used as a form for the .40???? Thanks!!! |
| The .40 has slightly more metal in the sides of the slide. It adds some mass and some strength to the .40 slide to address the additional stress, but not enough to make a difference in a leather holster - at least if you size it to the 9mm and then break it in with the .40. |
