| I picked up a P3AT as a cheap pocket/go everywhere pistol. In its first trip to the range I had 4 failure in under 50 rounds. All 4 failures were with the slide not completely returning to battery. It happened with both Blazer ball as well as Corbon DPX. The fairlures always seemed to happen in the middle of the magazine and I was not limp wristing the weapon. Other than that I can't say that it was pleasant to shoot but had it been or becomes reliable it is good for what it is intended for. Are my failure something that will correct its self as the gun breaks in? Any other information to help? |

Fluff & Buff LINK. All you really need to do is polish the feed ramp and make sure there are no sharp edges on the inside of the magazine feed lips digging into your brass. It may well work itself out as it breaks in. Break it in with 200 rounds of FMJ before you start shooting the expensive stuff (like DPX). |
