If your talking about the P3AT, I know the extractor is different. The Second Gen has a large butten head screw on the slide to hold the extractor/spring down. The first gen has the normal looking extractor.The extractor is the change that sticks out the most but as you can see in the pictures there was a slight design change in the grip and slide but not enough to be noticed at first glance. Some had extraction issues. The main reason behind the redesign was related to the cost of materials used to make the slide (square steel bar stock vs hex). The First Gen was 1 ounce lighter, and some preferred the sights as well. Both are great for their intended purpose. |
