My local dealer let me know he has a Kel-Tec PLR-16 coming in this week that I can have for $760. I haven't shot one but held one and it seemed like a pretty cool piece. Is that a good buy for a new one at that price? Are these reliable guns? They certainly look fun.

I bought one new several years ago for $525, which was about MSRP. Very accurate & reliable but after a few years I got tired of it, just didn't need a 100+ yard pistol.

That's a very good price. (Taking into account current market.)  Especially if it has the hand guard.

Cost is just under $500. If you want to pay $750 that's up to you but it's NOT a good deal.

Considering the fact that he could buy it and re-sell it for AT LEAST $150 profit on any of the auction sites I don't think he could go wrong.  Sure, it's above MSRP.....but, the fact is....It's still low enough that he will not lose any money if he doesn't like it.
