| I had one for a while. Mine was completely reliable and very small/thin to carry in the front pocket. I retired mine, and ultimately sold it, after I got a LCP which is similar in size but more effective. My P32 was solid though, the P3AT I briefly owned was not. |

Based on what? 32 and 380 exhibit similar depth of penetration in gel with similar bullets and neither is going to be considered a major caliber. |

I have a Gen 1 that gave me plenty of problems in the beginning. Sent it back to KT. They did a number of upgrades, and it's been great ever since. It mainly serves as my opera/ballet/symphony gun with the addition of a CT laser.
Although they are hard to find, I really like the Fiocchi Extrema XTP's in my gun. http://mousegunaddict.blogspot.com/2012/12/clear-gel-testing-fiocchi-32-auto-60.html I also thought about "upgrading" to a .380, but I don't think the increase in recoil is worth the difference in performance. |

Found a p32 hard chrome used at a shop with hogue grip and Crimson trace laser. Gun doesn't have a mag with it. So would have to order that. 239.99 plus tax. Guy said it has been there over a month
I am torn between it and the ruger LCP which they have for 199 What do y'all suggest? |

So, I'm really glad I haven't tried to go to Canada anytime in the last couple years... I just found a mag burried in the corner of a pocked of my door that I'd thought I'd lost a couple years ago.  So now I have 2 10-round mags!

I love my P32. I had an early model that had to go back to the factory. Factory said there had been too many upgrades so they just gave me a new one.

i drove an hour over to KelTec two weeks ago and had them inspect both of my 1Gen P32s. They installed a new frame on one (I had shot it to death) and they updated all the wearable parts for free.
I'm very pleased and am looking for a 3rd P32 |

Does anyone know the hottest factory ball ammo for it? Fiocchi is preferred by those on the Keltec group, it is hot. It also has the deepest extractor groove of all of the .32 ammo's. That makes it the most reliable, from what the members there say. Buffalo Bore makes a hot hard cast. Underwood makes a Lehigh Extreme Defender. The Keltec forum says the Lehigh factory loading has the best extractor groove. The Keltec forum advises a steel recoil spring guide and a upgraded recoil spring ( Wolff ) if you want to get and shoot the hot stuff. For long term firing. I would test fire the hotter rounds before you carry. |

I took all my KTs into the KelTec shop a few years ago and they replaced my P32 frame. I shoot hot Fiocci ammo exclusively and the slide had begun to peen the front of the aluminum frame insert. I should have taken a before picture. They were very interested in its history. I would second the steel rod and upgraded recoil spring |

Edit: more relevant info - galloway precision hammer spring & stainless guide rod. 3/20 failure to extract, all when the mag was either full or within 1 round of being full. |

i have had a p3at for years. carried it almost daily until the last time i took it to the range and it failed to fire due to a broken hammer spring. no abuse, never dropped, spring just broke and there was no indication anything was wrong until the trigger was pulled. got it fixed, never trusted it again. i'd opt for the ruger variants if i was inclined to carry one again. this is apparently a common failure on them. |
| the 380 pistol is a different machine than the 32. What is true for the 380 version cannot be assumed true for the 32. The 380 runs on the ragged edge of ability for a gun that small. the 32ACP operates well within comfortable mechanical boundaries. |

I have carried one for years and when I was working and wearing business pants/slacks it was the easy to conceal. The only issue I ever had was the mag release being too far extended and if you carried it against your leg or against a wallet it would sometimes pop the mag. Most people just shaved it down. |
Been my primary mowing, beach day, hiking, quick run to the store gun, and I always pocket carried it. Just replaced the extractor, extractor spring and grip as they were pretty roached. Found a guy that made a kydex holster for the P32 so I didn't have to pocket carry anymore, and added the DCC belt clip.

| I wish Kel-Tec would make a steel mag catch for these like they did for the PF9. Twisted Industries makes an aluminum catch, but it's going to eventually wear since it's rubbing on steel. Pushing in the oem plastic mag catch every time I insert a magazine is silly to me. Other than that, i like my P32 quite a bit. |

I used to own one. Got it shortly after the gun was launched. It operated just fine with Winchester FMJ ammo. I never tried to shoot Gucci/Boutique ammo in it. I came to the conclusion that I was only going to carry one handgun. In my opinion, there are much better choices than a little bitty .32 for self defense. Just because "it works" wasn't enough reason to keep it around. So the .32 got sold off. |

| For anyone that has purchased a P32 recently, what did you pay? New or used? I spoke with KT today and they said they do a run of these 4 times a year, with the last one being in December. So, theoretically there should be some of these hitting the market around March 2024, given what they told me. |

I have had mine for over ten years now and it just keeps on working and it can hide in the watch pocket of my jeans. When i first got it I took three pieces of 1" pitch wood and put them together to see what would do, five of six rounds went through all of them, one of them went most of the way with the bullet sticking out of the back side of the third piece of wood. If you stick this pistol in the bad guys face and have to fire it, it will stop the problem. |

Kel-Tec rarely do production runs on the P-32 and demand out strips supply pretty quick. Anybody that have the P-32 are $300+ and way to expensive IMHO. You might try gunbroker and limit your bid to close to retail price. You might get lucky.
