I'm currently comparing the stowable, survival-type rifles out there.  Anyone have any firsthand feedback on this one?

I've got a sub2000 in 9mm.  I love shooting this gun.  I had it mess up ejecting 1 round that was a reload.  The only problem I had was the front sight is cheap and broke, but thats easy to take care of.

I'd like to try out one in the .40S&W round to see how well it performs, but the 9mm is worth the $220 I shelled out for it.

Where did you get one for $220?

I am thinking about getting one in GLOCK configuration just for the hell of it.

I'm interested in where you picked it up as well.  I've seen a few on Guns America with green furniture, too.  Is that option readily available?  If not, anyone know how much extra it would be?

I got it from TxTactical Arms, the store is located in lubbock, Texas.  I don't have his info on me right now, but I'm sure I can post it after work today.

A friend of mine has one in .40 and it's a shooter! The only problem it has is with lead reloads, but I'm going to take it and polish the feed ramp a bit to fix that. It has a bit more recoil than the 9, but I think it would be a better survival caliber than the 9.

I'd be interested in that info if you have the time.

The owner's name is Thomas Larson, there are other people that help him out too.  He is a full time fireman, so his shop isn't always open.  Give him a buzz and I'm sure he can give you a decent price on anything you'd like.

A friend and I went to his shop several months back.  He was a good guy to deal with and he had an awesome price on the Kel Tec 380.  His price was lower than everyone else we called, including all the dealers on Gunbroker.com and Gunsamerica.com.

I really want one of these, but I hear they are almost impossible for a lefty to shoot.  How easy would it be to contrapt some sort of brass deflector?
