I tried the "search" and found nothing. I found 2 fairly nice CZ 82s locally over the weekend that I can get for about $225 OTD. I'm not familiar with the rifling on these barrels but one is smooth.......no sign of rifling at all with a strong light looking from different angles. I can see some of what appears to be rifling on the other barrel when looking off center. Is either barrel worth the price? TIA
+1 on what Tim said. These are nice little pistols for the money. I bought one a couple weeks in very nice condition for about the same money you paid with 2 mags and a holster. I have put about 70 rounds thru it with 0 problems, and was accurate. I have yet to try JHP rounds thru it, but would like to at some point just to see how they do. I may carry it CCW in the summer months because it is a bit smaller than my Glock 37, still up for debate. BTW I used the cheapest FMJ ammo I could find, about $9 a box of 50, and it funtioned flawlessly, some off name Russian I believe.
Thanks for all the information. I went back yesterday and bought the one with the best barrel. The other one had some bad pitting about a 1/4" from the crown. The guy who helped me couldn't find the box with the extra mag and mag pouch but I've known him for many years and if it's in the store he'll find it. I did get a holster........but only one mag. No one in the store knew anything about the pistol but I finally figured out how tio field strip it. Just like my PPKS Walther. The mag release button is very stiff and I think it needs to be cleaned and reoiled as soon as I figure out how to remove it. That little mag holds 12 rounds! 10-11-12 are hard to get in tho. I'm looking forward to shooting it.......maybe today. I picked up a box of Wolf (the only ammo available locally now) it's FMJ and should do til I can find something better. Thanks again.
