Preferences vary, but for most people with a safety equipped 75, there is no way the safety is something you have to "remember to check before you can fire", not if you practice much with your 75. I shoot my 75s with my thumb resting on the safety, just like a 1911. Removing the safety when firing is part of my natural grip. There's no way I can "forget". |

Try the P-08, identical to the P-01 but with safety and in .40.

So to fire from holster Uncocked is the same as yours. Diff is we can put safety on and re holster cocked and locked. No large SNAP/CRACK to scare the responding cop and get us shot.
