Just picked up a new CZ-75BD. Took it, and my P01 to the range today to try them out. I've shot the P01 for a few hundred rounds, but only with WWB. Today I had some aluminum cased CCI Blazer that I wanted to blast with.

Loaded up a mag and started shooting the 75. First mag cycled the pistol, but I noticed the casings were landing on the brim of my hat. Next mag I got stovepipes every 2 or 3 rounds. I tried the Blazer in the P01, no stovepipes, but a few casings ejected straight back onto my head.

I then proceeded to use the same mags loaded with WWB. No problems at all in either pistol. Brass ejected nicely to the right and rear. I don't shoot Blazer all that much, but I'm kind of disappointed that my copy of the vaunted CZ-75 can't eat it. I'm going to shoot the pistol for  a few hundred rounds with WWB and try the Blazer again. Hopefully it just needs to get broken in. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

EDIT- Here is a video of me shooting it with WWB. As you can see, it functions fine with this ammo. I cleaned and lubricated the pistol prior to using it.

i tried to "break in" all of my guns with al case blazers including my cZs.

i have found that some will work great with blazers and some dont and it goes for HPs too.  i would try shooting some brass FMJs thru them and then see what happens.  also, a good cleaning lube is in order.

Here's video 'evidence' of the CZ jamming up with the aluminum Blazer.

I was along on the range trip (shooting my new XD9 and shooting video).

Pistol worked great with the brass cased ammo though.

Neither the 75D PCR I used to own nor the 75 compact I own now like CCI Blazer.  They both liked anything brass I fed them.  Oh well.

It's probably because you bastards didn't invite me to go shoot Haha, kidding... I'm thinking along the same lines as you. Break it in some more with the WWB and try again. Maybe make sure your pistol is nice and wet. If it still doesn't work then no more aluminum cased ammo.

Also, do you guys reload? If not, keep your empty brass... I'll take em!

well i p/u an SP01 at the last gun show and had a chance to testfly it today.

i ran 50 rounds of aluminum blazer first thing and it ate all of them just fine.  i also ran about 200 fmjs thru it and no issues.
