I went to Cabela's today and I decided that I should atleast start trying some guns out for my new concealed carry gun. I read a lot of articles and post on the P01's so I said it looks great on paper so how about in person. Well it was love at first sight. The gun felt great in my hand and the controls were very comfortable. Cabela's had it for $519.99. Is that a good price? Any help is appreciated. I am almost positive that this will be my next CCW gun. ~ISherman |

It's worth that but you could probably find one cheaper if you look around. I CCW mine primarily lately, though it's a little wider than what I'm used to (1911). Some slimmer grips would probably help with that. The thing is super easy to shoot and has been 100% for me as long as I don't ride my thumb on the slide lock!! |

price will depend on area. i just p/u an OD one at my LGS for low 400. he wanted the Tactical Sports, but they sent him the P01 in Green. he also got a black PO1, but that went to another happy customer. i would check some of the other shops in your area if you have any and see what they have. |
I really wanted one badly. I went and shot one after holding one. I had an incredibly hard time manipulating the slide. This is an issue I have with the CZ design. I tend to have sweatty palms and there just isnt enough slide for me to grasp it firmly. |
| I picked up a P01 three days ago, stepping over to the dark side (I'm an old ,45 SA guy) I have to say I love it. It fits my hand so well it feels as if it were a part of it. I went straight to the range and put 200 through her with no FTFs or FTEs. The pistol is well put together. Wish I would have picked one up sooner! |
