I sold my .22 auto a year ago or so.  Now I am looking to get another one, BUT I found that CZ makes a .22 conversion for the cz-75 line.

Does anyone know if the .22 conversion works on the  P-01?

I ordered one from Buds over the weekend.  I can't wait.  New toy.  Bought .22 conversion kit for CZ's.  Now I need one for the Sig, 1911 and AR.  I guess I could just shoot my 10/22 but that this is accurate boring.

My Kadet kit sees as-much, or more use on my P01 than my 9mm slide does!
Highly recommend the Kadet kit for any CZ75 user.  With the cost of centerfire these days, it's such a great item to have for cheap shooting.

Mine slid on without any fitting required (some people need to do some filing).
The only 'problem' it's ever given me was that early on, it would not lock the slide back after last-round.  This was fixed free by CZUSA sending me a slide stop from a PCR for use with the kit.
It's fed and cycled Aguila subsonics/standard/high vel, Remington subs, and Fed VP just fine.  Lately, it's only been getting only Fed VP due to me being a cheapskate.

The magazines will stick out of the bottom, as would any full-size CZ magazine.  This didn't bother me at all.  But, someone pointed out that if you take the baseplate of a factory 10rd compact mag (9mm) and replace the baseplate of the Kadet section... you have an instant "compact" Kadet magazine.  Since I had some 10rd compacts on-hand, I've done this with three of my magazines... two others remain full-size.
Cost of spare mags is ridiculously high... but if you look around you might get lucky.  The kit should come with two.   I bought three spares for $27ea from a vendor that no longer exists.

I don't have any recent pictures of my P01/Kadet... only have one that is fairly old (next to my grandfather's old 950).   This has one of the "compact Kadet" mags inserted.

I just got back from the range with my Kadet.  I used CCI mini mags for a little more umpf and to help break in.  First 50 rounds I had couple light primer strikes.  Last 50 were just perfect.  Would have shot it more but I went with my wife and I coached her with her revolver.  She really liked the CZ in 22.  I only got to shoot 20 rounds, she shoot the rest, Range hog.

Mines didn't fit and I had to file to fit.  Not happy with that.  Now it will fit on my P01, 75 and SP01.  I also filed a little bit of the ejector so that it would eject the empties instead of jamming it.  I guess a common issue with the kits.  Check out www.czforum.com.  Ton of info.

My Kadet kit just came in last week, and I tried it out yesterday (I have a cz85 not B).  It required no fitting, just slide it on.  I love it!
