Well, I've owned all sorts of different guns, but I've just acquired my first CZ pistol, a P-01.  I traded with a guy tonight for one of my M&P9 pistols (I had two full-size 9mm M&Ps) and I wanted a CZ 9mm without spending any money.  He wanted a M&P9, so it worked out perfectly.  I still have plenty of M&Ps, and now I have my first CZ also.  If it shoots as well and it handles, I can see myself getting a few more.

I think you did good trade. Congrats on your first CZ. I would also recomend a full sized 75B and the 97B.

Congrats, and welcome to the Cult of CZ!
Longer mags run in them just fine of you do not use the mag as a rest.

Is there a steel frame compact with a decocker rather than a manual safety?  I really like the feel of the P-01, but I'd also like to try an all steel gun of the same size.

I am not sure about the decocker but the 75B compact in 9mm is steel but has a manual saftey and no rail.

All the steel compacts have a manual safety. Congrats on the P-01, Landric. My P-01 is my favorite pistol. Just be warned - 1 CZ is never enough!
