| Has anyone seen one of these for sale yet? If so where? |
3 questions: is there much difference between the p-01 and the compact other than the rail? where did you get the 20? round mag? where did you get the grips w/ the finger grooves (hogue maybe)? |
I can take a couple of those: 1. I believe the P-01/PCR are alloy framed while the rest of the compact stable and most of the of the full sized CZ (SP-01, too) are steel framed. My P-01 is a tad lighter than my CZ-75D Compact. 3. It's a Hogue one-piece w/ finger grooves. BTW, I need to start saving my pennies for an SP-01. |
The SP-01 is the full-size, steel-framed tactical pistol for police and competition (available w/ decocker and manual safety), the P-01 is the compact, alloy framed pistol for carry. I don't own a P-01 so I'm no sure about our question about the differences between the P-01 and the compact. You can get the CZ factory 25 round magazine direct from CZ or off gunbroker.com The Grips are Hogue fingergroove grips |

PO1 also has a few minor grooves at the front of the hand grip, which the std Compact does not have. My CZ 25rnd mags came off EE, see DallasTactical vendor, $45ea. I have the Compact for controls/sights just like my 97B, and it may be found for much less than the more-tactical models. |
