I had (sold to my father, going to buy it back when funds free up) an SP-01 Tactical in 9mm.

One outting, I shot through it some Winchester 9mm "Nato" ammo, which from what I read, is loaded a little hotter than 9mm +P.

I could swear I read something saying that the SP-01 was rater for any 9mm, including +P, but I cannot find that in writing.

Is the SP-01 (or any CZ-75) rated for 9mm +P? Or was I wrong to shoot the hot ammo through my SP-01?

Thanks!

Q: “Can my CZ pistol shoot +P ammo? +P+?”

A: Just like in any pistol, +P ammunition will accelerate wear on moving parts. It’s ok to use, we just recommend using it sparingly.

The only ammos we don’t warranty are +P+ (since they have no spec to be held to) and handloads (since human error can be a factor).

I use NATO 124 ball in all my 9mm pistols and the AR for general blasting. My 75B and SP love it.

Many rounds downrange and nary a problem. Excessive wear might be seen in low-end cheap guns.
