What are the extended barrel options for a CZ 75 B other than factory CZ if any ?

Looking for an extended barrel that I can thread for suppressor use.

ADCO extended mine and threaded the extension. Great host.

These are labeled as SP01 so I dont know the compatibility with standard 75's

ADCO threaded and extended mine for both my 75B and my Phantom.

CZ Custom sells an extended, threaded SP01 barrel, but it requires fitting, like all CZ barrels.

ADCO did a good job, but the thin barrels require a built up shoulder on the extension, so takedown of the pistol requires a tool to loosen the extension.

SP-01 barrels will NOT fit standard 75s. 75 barrels are thinner-walled, and will also need an extra shoulder unless you have a can that indexes off of the muzzle (instead of the shoulder). In general, if you want to do a 75, send it to ADCO. They will put an extension on it Secure it with loctite, so that it can still be removed when you need to fully strip the pistol.

SP-01 barrels are thick enough to not need a shouldered extension, but again, they are too thick to fit in a 75.

From everything I've read Adco is your best bet.  I plan to have them do my Kadet.

So... What if I want to get a replace ment barrel for my 75 b a send it off to adco to be extended and threaded.  Are there any stock barrel replacements for the 75 b?  I don't want to f up my original barrel and would rather keep it stock.

Just to remind you guys, fitting a CZ barrel is never as easy as its made out to be on the internet.   There is even a post somewhere, maybe on SilencerTalk, where a guy talks about fitting his own barrel (and he actually skips a few steps).

In one way, these barrels are similar to 1911 barrels.   What I mean is, even if the barrel locks up and the slide goes all the way forward, the barrel may not be properly installed.  CZ Custom wants 100 bucks to fit a new barrel.  Only you can decide if thats worth it.

I love CZ's, but 75B's and SP01 base models are not collectors items or anything rare or extremely valuable.   I have the factory barrels threaded because I know they are already properly fitted and I wont have to worry about more issues with the can installed.   An improperly fitted CZ barrel wont cycle with a suppressor.  A guess you just have to decide if the compromise is worth it.

CZ Custom wants 275 for the .550 threaded barrel.   Add 100 for fitting and youre talking 400 bucks after shipping.

Obviously if a person does not feel they can fit a barrel they should not be doing it.
The CZ looks pretty simple and straight forward and you always have the original barrel for measurements and comparison.

That being said not everyone wants a threaded barrel and they are illegal in some states so having a "spare" barrel is not a bad thing.

Very good points from both of you.  I may save my money and just opt for a P-09 suppressor ready version when they come out.  Seems more cost effective.  Although it sure would be nice to suppress a cz75b ...
