Once you shoot it and see how well it shoots, I see that Glock mat going in the trash. With any luck, I should be able to take it out this weekend. I might just shitcan the Glocks in my avatar, along with the mat. I've poked around, albeit briefly, in some of the CZ forums and can't seem to determine, with certainty, what model I have. It seems to have all of the features of an 85 Combat (fully adjustable rear sight, ambi controls, overtravel stop, no FPB, etc,) but doesn't actually have "Combat" stamped on the slide, as you can see. Was there a period where 85 Combats were produced without the "Combat" marking...or were these called something else? |

I believe that the Transitional 85s were made in '93-94. |

Whatever it is, it sure shoots well. I had no trouble finding the target today. I won't be ditching the Glocks any time soon, but I understand the attraction and can see more CZ's in my future.

I know it's early and I'm not quite awake yet, but what is "FPB"?
I apologize in advance for letting my 13er show.... Quoted:

Not a very good photo of my 85 Combat. It has a BOD of 93. No Combat rollmark on the slide, but it has the earlier style rear Combat sights and the box it came in is marked as a Combat model. I bought it new, it originally had the enamel finish on it. I had it refinished with a brushed hard chrome. It has been and still is my most favorite handgun. http://home.mchsi.com/~cz75fan.mo/015_a.jpg http://home.mchsi.com/~cz75fan.mo/021_s.jpg Quoted:
