| Just bought a CZ 75 SP-01 Phantom last week and the decocker does not work like it should. According to the instruction manual if the hammer is in the full cocked position and you press the decoking lever the hammer should go to the half cocked position. Mine does not do that. With the hammer fully cocked pressing the decocking lever does nothing. If I press the decocker and pull the trigger the hammer goes to the half cocked position. Am I missing something or should the gun be sent in for repair? |
| Are you pressing the decocker hard enough? I don't have any decocker models anymore, but if I remember correctly you would push the lever down fairly easily at first, then you'd get some resistance, then you'd have to apply some more force to release the hammer. |
