I have a chance to purchase a used CZ 75 Compact in good condition with one 14 round magazine, no case, no accessories.  Is $430 a fair price?

They are back ordered until summer 2014, so go for it. I love my CZs.

Oh man, I'm sorry that you missed that.  It was a great deal.  I bought one for well over $500 about a year ago.

I would have jumped on it and I already own one.  The compact is a great gun.

I really didn't know what the availability or price of the CZ75 compacts is (or full size).  I know that everything I have read about the CZ75 has been very positive. At least you guys have helped educate me.

Hurts to miss the good deals.

I've been wanting another 75SA for quite a while now. I waited too long and now they're hard to find. One popped up on the EE shortly after the last panic-buy started. It came up with a bunch of mags and accessories. I thought the price was so-so to slightly high for a used one, but I was basing that on out of date prices. It was too late by the time I figured out that it was a bargain.

This is a very good point.  In the firearms community, getting "good deals" is a matter of being in the right place at the right time with the right information.
