A year ago I purchased an SP-01, sold off the upper and added a Kadet kit making it a dedicated .22lr shooter. Added a Dawson Precision front site, a threaded barrel and a set of Hogue wraparound grips and I thought I was done. Taking out to shoot I couldn't help but want something much nicer for my trigger. Enter Cajun Gun Works. Dave was a true resource for all things CZ and after a half hour Sunday afternoon phone call with him I had a race hammer, new sear, SA trigger and various pins and punches on the way.
After 90 minutes of detailed parts replacement I had switched my factory fire control guts over to Dave's awesome components. The next day after adjusting the trigger pre and over travel I had a super short throw, short reset, few pound trigger that was crisp as fresh apple on a chilly October morning. Un-friggin-believable. For a couple hundred bucks the trigger had been transformed from a long, kinda rough double action into one that felt like a tuned 1911 single action. I can't recommend Cajun Gun Works highly enough. Dave is tremendously knowledgeable and puts out a firearm transforming piece of kit. If you have a CZ75 and want the best trigger to be had in your firearm, go with CGW - they offer both DA & SA trigger solutions.

I just did the same thing. I got the milled Shadow hammer and adjustable sear, extended firing pin kit, and a set of VZ grips. My SA model now has an awesome trigger and it took all of an hour at the bench.
I ordered and had the parts 3 days later. When I get another CZ I will do the same thing again. |
