100% normal. Alloy framed CZs don't have any finish on the inside of the frame - it'd be weird if yours did. That said, if it is really irritating you, you can try calling CZ-USA, since they do cover finish defects under their warranty for a year. I'll ask em but won't get all butthurt I guess. |

I just looked at my SP-01, the steel full-sized version of your gun, and mine is the same way. No "poly-coat" finish on the inside of the dust cover.
Never bothered me. Hell, didn't even notice it until I looked for it. I figured that was just how it was supposed to be. |

I'm not the best person to ask though, I guess, since I couldn't really care less about how my guns look. |

German P226 w/ factory night sights (old but pristine) for less than the P01. Also could have got an M&P Vtac w/ lots of extras for same prices as P01. |

What CZ are you shooting that is beat by a sig that significantly, and who is robbing you and partially compensating you with a SIG? SIG is a good gun, but for the price, CZ is much better. And not noticing a poly coat in the inside of your gun isn't half assed- mine has the poly coat but I didn't really know for sure until I looked at it. And I clean my gun thoroughly and regularly. |

All I am saying is that you can get P-01s for ~$540, which is comparable to cheaper polymer guns and cheaper than more expensive polymers and just about any "metal" gun. They are excellent values, but you do have to give some things up - in this case, some fit and finish. |

Even budsgunshop would have been about $600 for me. No real dealers for CZ here. I love Sigs but the P01 just called out to me. |
| I think all of my CZs are that way. I've never had an issue, and it doesn't matter to me. They aren't rusting, and I don't care if they're not super pretty on the inside. They are reliable, well-made, accurate, and fit my hand like a glove. It's why every time I've tried another brand, such as Sig, I ended up selling and buying another CZ. |
