I know ProMag's reputation for AR mags is less then stellar... What about their CZ 75B mags? Any good, or should I just stick with the Mec-Gars?

Also, where can I get a 25+ round 9mm mag for my new toy for a decent price?

I have 2 promags that have always worked fine in my cz75b.  Someone else will probably be along shortly to say they suck, but mine are fine.

I've never had an out of the box problem with any Mec-Gar mag I've ever purchased for any gun I own.

I most certainly can't say that about the few pro-mags I've had.

In all fairness however, I've never had a pro-mag for my CZ, I just bought the Mec-Gars from the word go.

Those people know how to build magazines correctly, all the time.

I have both mec-gar and promag cz mags. Both work but mec-gars are better quality. They are both priced about the same too.  Mark

im sure you can find good Pro Mags.  But IME, its a crap shoot if they work or not.  I will and have purchased Pro Mags, but only when OEMs or MecGars werent available.

If you can get them at a really, really, really good price then go for it.

IMO, having BTDT....
MecGar = 100%
ProMag =<100%

Mec-Gar  = OEM mags.  Never a problem with Mec-Gar.  I gave up on Pro Mag many years ago JUNK.

Mecgar is same as factory mags. Friends don't let friends buy promags.

Go here as the first stop for parts etc. http://czcustom.com/CZ-Factory-Parts.aspx
They have the 26rnd mag for 65$ there. You may be happy with two of the sp01 19rnd mags also?

Bot 4 Promags when I first got my 75-BD. By about 2 months I was down to 2 that always worked.
Bot 3 Mec-Gars; they have always worked.
So my 2 OEMs are sitting in the oilbag that the gun came in, 4 mags are ready for range use,
     and one Mec-Gar full of Speer Gold Dots is reserved for uninvited guests.

The anti friction finish on the 19 round Mec-Gars is very nice.  If the ProMags don't have something comparable, I'd skip them.  I plan to buy 4 more of the 19rd MGs when I have the money.

I use Mec-Gar's in my CZ's.  I have never had any problems with them, so I haven't tried anything else.

Well, just as an update... I got both. The Mec-Gar 16 rounders are great, and the ProMag 20 rounders are just as functional... Got some strange looks at the range with my pile o' mags, lemme tell you... I hate reloading at the range, so I usually take a /ton/ of mags with me.

"PRO-MAG" makes baby Jesus cry

Seriously "PRO-MAG"

Yes, I have owned and/or tried to shoot several for several different guns. They were all shit without exception.
