Heard anything on the price tag? This things been here....gone.....here.......gone more times than Robert Downey Jr. I'm still not certain bringing the Coonan .357 back isn't some kind of practical joke.

Awesome!  I have a good friend that told me about these when they were around a few years ago.  I thought it sounded like a great idea!
I just hope it fits my price range!

yes, same .357 Remington Magnum that came out in 1935.  Will also fed .38 Spl (requires different recoil spring for reliable operation if operation alot of .38)  I owned two Model Bs before.

Tragic boating accident?

I'm just curious if it's going to stick around this time.

Any galling issues with the slide/frame?

I want to throw the new Coonan and the new Bren Ten into a pit and see which one survives.

I want to Get Both®, of course.

It won't be any time real soon...

Ah yes The COONAN... Long out of production but built to last more than a lifetime.

I am close friends with some who are involved with the resurrection, and it will be some time before that happens. But I'm holding out hope.

However... It's still one of, if not my favorite pistol. I really regret selling off several that I've owned back in the day.

It's 8 (or 9 with modded mag) total round capacity, stainless steel 1911 styled (aprox 10% larger overall) that I have owned many of over 25 years, and still have my last one. I have formerly competed with them for years (in the distant past), hunted with them, plinked, and home defense is a given. Concealing one is not easy, but with the 'right clothing' I have done it.

The standard .357 magnum out of the gun doesn't have the cyl gap of a revolver, so shooting anywhere from 110 to 180 grain bullets gives 'much' greater performance than a revolver, and it shoots very flat. The second most accurate pistol I own next to my SA OMEGA 10mm.

Here's a pic of some standard configs they were offered in:

Here's me back in 1986? (or so) at a friends cabin. He had a nice 35mm camera that caught the recoil and muzzle flash. I was 25 years old and only 155 lbs. compared to 215 lbs now (give or take a bit) so concealing it would be easier now.  :)  I assume by the muzzle flash I was shooting some federal 125 JHP which the gun was quite fond of as it sent the bullets down range just under 2000 fps. No compensators back then for me yet.
