Very Nice! I have an OLD Wilson Master Combat...built by his main man Bud Coley back in 1979-80 for me. Still going strong after a conservative 85,000-90,000 rounds of factory and reloaded ammo...two barrels and a replacement trigger. They know how to build good guns. Congratualtions! |

Nah...the 300,000 mark has been surpassed several times by Glocks and at least one Beretta 92 at their factory...probably others as well. The .45a.c.p. is a relatively low pressure cartridge and does not beat up the guns like some of the newer high pressure stuff such as the .40 or .357Sig. My gun was/is a match pistol and I damned sure have shot my share of matches with it in past years as well as thousands upon thousands of mid-power reloads. Still, the actual number I have fired in it is unknown for sure...I stopped logging shots at 50,000 rounds close to fifteen years ago, but I still shoot it some today. One of my grandsons will get it one day, and he will shoot it some more! You have a damned nice pistol there...and a good quality one as well...now load it up and shoot Hell out of it...that's what it was designed to do! Enjoy it! |
