Part of me is surprised there's no "MAC" section here.  I've been collecting MasterPiece Arms guns for years.  It's nice to have "MACs" being made again (most people don't know they've been available new for almost a decade), but we have the added bonus of a manufacturer that actually focuses on just this type of weapon which REALLY needed some polishing.  MPA also constantly improves (I have different models and builds going back 5 years so I have been able to track their improvement and innovation).

I got a couple of Vulcan "MACs" just to have them for comparison and the mag well on the 9mm is really crooked hock.gif  The .45 looked nice and was built better than their 9.  I need to test fire them but ammo being so expensive I see it as taking gun money.

Masterpiece arms being so focused on "MACs," they built up their "mini" 9mm as a totally new animal.  This "mini" makes the "MAC" design something practical for hip carry while walking as well as home defense.  I make sure to get barrel extensions for all my "MACs."  No suppressors yet.  F.D.R.'s idiotic $200 transfer tax is just too big of an insult for me to go that route.

Gunbroker's page is pretty helpful for gauging prices.

MAC's are getting a better reputation lately, Richard Lage has a good reputation for his new uppers. The UZI talk forum has a section devoted to the MAC, however for many people, they simply remain low end Class 3 weapons.
