My nightsights came in for my P9 friday.
I tried taking the old sites off but they were too damn tight.
I took it to a gunsmith who installed the new ones for me.
While tapping them in, they were nicked up a little bit.
Has this happened to anyone elses.  I was able to touch them up with some paint,
and it looks pretty good now.  It will drive me crazy for a few days and then go away.

... I prefer not to talk about my night site installation process. I'm still bitter about it.

But needless to say, i think this is generally the case.

If he didn't have a site pusher thatis what will happen. A shame, to  nice sights  you will get over it.  I installed my nite sites myself but Ihad a site pusher tool also.  Helps alot. You just can't get those factory sights out without a pusher...  touch them up and you will be OK but a good smitty should know how to do it properly to.  Most of the time new sights have to be sanded/filed down some to install properly. not just take um out fo the box and think they will slip in without harming anything.
