I have a Beretta 92G Vertec with 2-20 round Mcgar (M9) mags and 3 Beretta 17 round mags. I am into IDPA and Glocks (19,22,34,36) so I don't really shoot the Beretta at all. I am thinking of selling the Beretta to purchase a Glock 23 or a Kahr PM9.

This is the problem:

Given our new pres. and the likeliness of a ban of some sort I may want to keep the Beretta.

The Beretta has 5 Hi-cap mags and the slide action cuts like butter.

Question:

Should I keep it or sell it and WHY??????

If you have to debate the sell of any firearms, don't do it. You have given yourself plenty of reasons to keep it. I am not a fan of the beretta's, but a huge Glock fan. I have the 23 and 22. I love them both. I don't sell guns.

+1 to this

I would say don't ever sell a firearm unless it is the only way of financing a new purchase or if the gun just absolutely does not work for you. If you feel iffy, hang on to it for a while. Most likely it is not going to depreciate in value any more than it already has.

Keep the Beretta,  you knew that when u asked us, just wanted to hear it back  again.  Nice gun.  I don't shoot all of mine like I should,  BUT I GOT UM..

Feed the family, sell the gun, otherwise keep it.  It won't be less tomorrow or a month from now either..

Keep it.  I went through the same thing when trying to finance my first AR when I was a broke college student.  Sell a russian sks and get the AR quicker; or keep the sks.  Now I'm glad that I still have it. I really don't shoot it much any more but am still very happy with my choice.

I have only sold a few guns but with the exception of one of them I had always wished I didn't.
