Looking at one of these fine little Mk9 (was going to get a Beretta tomcat in 32, however it seems like the slight increase in weight and size is worth it to step up to 9mm which is also consisent with my glock and CZ) as a possible next purchase, it is used (apparently lightly so) anyone know what I should look for to make sure the last person's isnt a "dud" trade-in?

not really , never heard any complaints on the MK kahrs. Just a damn good gun. Just to heavy for mpocket carry when its brother the PM is sitting there next to it. But if you love all steel, then no better gun to choose IMO.
I bought aused K9 and was alittle leary about buying anyone's used stuff, but 4000 rounds later and not one hiccup, I could not be happier, saved myself about $300 in doing it so.. |
| I had a Tomcat and it bit me every time I shot it, it is not designed for long fingers. I traded it in on a MK9 and I totally love it. It packs a bit of punch and after 200 rounds last night my wrist was a bit achy, but it is a damn good little gun. I CC it in a Don Hume uw holster in the small of my back with no issues. |

Thanks, is frame cracking an issue in general with these guns or just ones that have seen to many 9mm +Ps or 9mm +P+ My understanding is that it was a few frames and not a pandemic of them and just bad material, not the +P ammo. Check yours over and if it is OK buy it and just shoot it like u stole it. Great gun.. |
