I just picked up a pm45. I took it to the range and just about after every round fired, the trigger wouldn't come all the way forward so I could fire another round. I would have to pull the trigger just slightly again to get it to reengage. It wasn't that I didn't remove my finger to allow the trigger to come all the way forward, because I could remove my finger completely and the trigger was only about halfway forward.

I ran over 100 rounds through it with two brands of 230g.

This is a new gun, but this doesn't seem right. Any ideas on whats going on? The armorer at the range could reproduce it with pulling the trigger just dry firing. So its not a limp wristing issue either. Is this a break in issue or???

I am guessing it's not a break in issue. Before break in my pm45 would give an occasional stove pipe (rarely). I have never had nor heard of that issue. I would call kahr.

Sounds like a weak return spring. I would definitely contact Kahr.

How do you like it otherwise? Recoil? Accuracy?

I have had no jams, no misfeeds, much easier to fire then my 40.  It came with the barrel polished.  If I can correct this issue I think it will be a great CCW.   I shot 100 rounds through it and would have continued except for the trigger issue.  Very accurate.  I was hesitant due to alot of the reviews and obviously I am having issues, but if its simply a spring issue, I feel I can have confidence it will go bang when I need it to...

I contacted Kahr and they want me to send it back to them.  I guess this means I won't have it for a while.

Anyone else have any issues similar?

these guys are right, send it back but ask Kahr to pick up the return costs, as it is new. even better ask them to issue a prepaid UPS or FED X  pickup.

I asked them to do that and they did NOT.

I called, they said it was an unusual issue and said to send it back.  I then said that it was a week old weapon and wanted to ensure that they were to pay for shipping.  They did.  Picked up today.  Hopefully they fix the issue.  I would like this to be a dependable weapon...

I will let everyone know when I get back.  Hopefully its only 2 weeks...

Just got the pm45 back about a week ago.  3 to 4 week turn around with holidays.

They reworked the trigger.   Took it to the range and no misfires.  Great weapon.

It may have not been so great out of the box, but it is shooting well now.  I had no problems with Kahr service and at this time it appears to be fixed....

Its a great gun and shoots great!

heh man crap happens we all know that,  not good when ithappens to you but at leat kahr paid both ways and u were out some time but kmy guess is that also while it was there it got a better look over for everything else than one woldnormally get with one out of thebox.

the are darn nice guns, but as we know darn nice guns can give issues.  It is when the company treats you like crap  that it becomes a really bad gun.  Now just shoot it like u stole it..
