Does anyone have a Kahr K9 with the NYPD spec trigger? Does the reset really feel any different from other Kahr trigger? Any other differences?

As far as I know, the NYPD trigger is really the OLD Kahr trigger.  It's a little longer and slightly heavier then the new "Elite" trigger.

I actually prefer the older trigger.  It feels just like a well-tuned S&W "K" frame revolver trigger to me.

how does the new trigger feel?
i keep hearing people refer to kahr triggers like s&w revolver triggers but i assumed it was the current run that felt like that.

"Different"
It still feels like a revolver, only a revolver that has a slightly shorter, lighter pull.

I personally prefer the original trigger.

Kahr can retro-fit the original trigger, probably faster and cheaper than anyone else.

They still use the original on the budget CW guns and on the NYPD model.

NY trigger are  1/8" longer in pull, same poundage though.  One can buy from wolffs gun springs a 5# striker spring that just drops right in any of our kahrs and really changes things big time.  I have the 5# in my k9 and pm9 and they are super. I hear that is the poundage striker spring that kahr is putting in the p380 from the factory to..
